Welcome
to Our Space

Arlington is the last standing Antebellum structure in Birmingham. Anchored in one of its oldest neighborhoods, our property is a rich structure of history

with a modern vision.

Our Identity

Located in Birmingham's Historic Arlington-West End Community

Arlington was sold to the City of Birmingham in 1953 and continues to evolve with a goal to host engaging, progressive conversations, provide accessible cultural opportunities, and redefine the museum and garden as a safe and inclusive community space.

Our Goal

Engage. Provide. Redefine

Our goal is to ensure Arlington remains relevant and resilient by engaging the minds of the future through education and community programming, providing programs and partnerships to foster revitalization and community cultivation, and redefining our image and identity to embrace the surrounding community and reflect positive, sustainable change.
